From 24 to 26 June 2025, 14 adult educators and project partners from France, Germany, Portugal, and Spain will come together in Nicosia, Cyprus, for a three-day training as part of the EmpowerHer project — a European initiative committed to advancing the social and professional inclusion of migrant women across Europe.
Hosted by ComCy, Cypriot partner of the project, at Eurosuccess Consulting, the training aims to strengthen the capacity of adult educators through practical tools, inclusive methodologies, and innovative approaches tailored to accompany the diverse experiences of migrant women.
Throughout the training, participants will:
- Engage with the EmpowerHer Training Programme, developed to enhance the competences of women facing integration challenges in the job market.
- Explore the ProfilPASS, a self-reflection and skills assessment tool supporting personal and professional development specifically designed for migrant women paths.
- Discover the EmpowerHer Web App, an interactive digital platform offering gamified, user-friendly individualized learning pathways.
- Collaborate through experience-sharing, co-creation of local action plans, and the design of transnational strategies for on-the-ground impact.
One of the key moments of the event will be a field visit to Tochka Ceramics, the creative studio of Tatiana Vasilieva. Originally from Russia, Tatiana transformed her artistic passion into a thriving business after relocating to Cyprus. Her journey exemplifies how creativity, determination, and the right support systems can empower migrant women and contribute meaningfully to local communities.
This training goes beyond skill-building — it’s about fostering a community of educators who are actively driving inclusive change.
Stay connected as EmpowerHer continues to evolve and expand across Europe, opening doors and building bridges for migrant women to realise their full potential. We’ll be back soon with insights and outcomes from this inspiring training experience!
