The EmpowerHer consortium held its second transnational project meeting in Granada, Spain, on 4–5 November 2025. Over two days, partners aligned on milestones across work packages, refreshed the project roadmap, and strengthened collaboration in person, also having some little time to explore the city and relax in a sunny Spain.

1st day – Tuesday 4th of November 2025

After a welcome and a “setting the stage” check-in led by Wisamar, teams dove into the development of the Onboarding Toolbox. Antonia from Comcy facilitated this first session to share insights from recent focus groups and interviews with stakeholders that will be integrated in a final european report, and of course will serve to shape the toolbox. A short post-lunch energizer hosted by DIE helped the group reset before turning to the Implementations of the Training Programme activity, with Soha from Pistes Solidaires leading the sesssion. Firstly, partners provided some updates about local trainings to be implemented, and then about the upcoming online workshop to be held on November 25th. The day closed with partners having a live competitiopn using the web app that served both to refine functionality and gather partner inputs and have a fun final of the meeting. Disclaimer: no partner was looked down upon for their final score ;).

2nd day – Wednesday 5th of November 2025

The second morning started slowly with a yoga session with Andreea, where partners had the chance to connect a bit with themselves but also with the group, as a fresh and smooth start of the second meeting day. APIDI and OnProjects presented several updates and next tasks regarding communication and outreach activities, mainly related to the social media campaign to be launched. Later on, after a short coffee break, Antonia from Comcy went through the quality assurance and impact check-in to schedule upcoming evaluation activities, followed by Wisamar’s segment on project coordination covering forthcoming reports and the calendar for next meetings. The meeting closed with a final Q&A session, and a shared comittment of the consortium to keep on working towards a better future for migrant women through our project.

Bringing two productive days to a close, the Granada meeting ended with clear commitments, renewed momentum, and a shared sense of purpose. Just as importantly, the time together strengthened trust and collaboration, key concepts for a successful teamwork.  Thank you to all partners for your energy and insight; together, we are advancing EmpowerHer’s mission to expand opportunities for migrant women across Europe.
